Re: Scott Pilgrim vs The World

This is great beat-em-up game! How long has it been since anyone ever made a great beat-em-up? Not since Ninja Turtles in the early 90's I would think. Feel free to disagree.

However the game itself is rather entertaining, with the whole multiplayer aspect to it as well. Me and my mates got up to the two Japanese twins and did some crazy stacking of beachballs and characters during the level. We've got proof, but Soundbraker has all the pics, so he'll have to upload them so you can see what we've managed to do. It's great fun though. Seeing the movie does help, or being acquainted with the comic helps to further the entertainment value.

Got 'em here, mate.
'Twas a happy accident when I (as Stills) jumped on top of the beachball Soul (as Ramona) was using as a bludgeon. It was at this moment we started to experiment with the concept.

This is Me and Train (as Scott) on one beachball:

This is the three of us with our first attempt at Beachball Stacking:

And this is our completed tower, with three beachballs:

Here's what happened when we started attacking with our beachballs:

And something else strange, Ramona's telekinetic ability to pick-up an opponent from two character-lengths away:
