For me, it depends on the sale.
I prefer full on DVD sets like my Kurumi, Ikktousen and Zeta Gundam. I'll admit it's obnoxious to get individuals, but condiering I spent $1 each on G Gundam, DVD 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, and 12, its not all too bad.
